Speciality Programs
- Grade 11 or Grade 12 students gain work experience in a field of interest while earning high school credits.
- Select 2 or 4 credits
- Application required:
- Select Co-op on myBlueprint then complete the online application which can be found in myBlueprint.
- The teacher will work with students to talk about their interests and possible placements

- 1 in 5 new job openings in Ontario will be in skilled trades-related occupations by 2028
- There are over 150 skilled trades to choose from in 4 main categories - Construction, Industrial, Motive Power, Service
- Students explore and gain training in apprenticeship occupations starting in Grade 11 or Grade 12 through the Co-operative Education program.
- Students have an opportunity to become registered apprentices and work towards becoming certified in a skilled trade while completing their secondary school diplomas.
