Join Us for the Annual Terry Fox Event!
Mark your calendars! On Monday, September 28th, during Period 3, our school will be coming together to honor Terry Fox’s legacy and support cancer research. We have an exciting lineup of activities for both students and staff:
- Teacher vs. Student Race: Watch the ultimate showdown on the field, followed by a pie-in-the-face event and more!
- Run for Hope (Track): Head up to the track and log some laps for Terry’s Run for Hope. Every lap completed earns students an entry into a prize draw!
- Terry’s Journey (Room 220): Terry’s dream was to run across Canada. Sign up to bring your class to Room 220 to experience the sights, sounds, and facts of Terry’s inspiring journey across the nation.
- School-Wide Walking Challenge: Don't have a Period 3 class, or want to participate from the hallway? Take a 5-minute break to walk the halls! See if your class can reach 42 km—the distance Terry ran every single day—or help our school collectively reach 6,000 km, the total distance Terry completed.
How to Support & Donate: We encourage everyone to support this important cause. Donations can be made online via our school's fundraising page or through cash donations on the day of the event:
