School Council - Talking Tuesday

Talking Tuesday is Back!

When: Tuesday, October 28, 2025
Time: 7:30–8:30 p.m.
Where: WCI Library
Topic: Social Media, Data Privacy & the Rise of AI – What Parents Need to Know

Parenting in the digital age can feel overwhelming: algorithms, screen time, digital footprints, and now AI shaping how our kids learn and connect.

Join us for an open conversation about how technology is impacting our teens’ lives and what we, as parents, can do to guide them with awareness and confidence.

We’ll explore:

  • How social media affects mental health and connection
  • What data privacy and digital footprints really mean for families
  • The growing role of AI in education, creativity, and daily life
  • Ways to keep conversations open, curious, and grounded in trust

Why Talking Tuesdays?

  • Because parenting teenagers isn’t meant to be a solo mission. These evenings are designed as a safe, judgment-free space for parents and caregivers to:
  • Connect with one another
  • Share stories and ideas
  • Support and strengthen our community

Together, we can build a stronger village for the parents of teens- a place to connect, learn, and remind one another that we’re not alone on this journey.

We look forward to seeing you at Talking Tuesday and continuing to grow our WCI community of caring, curious, and connected parents.
